How It Works
Your flowers tell a story — and preserving them well means slowing down and listening to what they need. This process isn’t about speed, but about care, patience, and thoughtful design.
Here, you’ll find an overview of how your flowers move from fresh blooms to a finished resin keepsake. Each step has been designed to be simple and transparent, while allowing space for the individuality of every bouquet.
The result is something lasting — a piece created not just to be seen, but to be held onto for years to come.
1. Reserve your place
Preservation spaces are booked by event date. A £100 deposit secures your booking, with the remaining balance payable once your flowers arrive.
If your exact date isn’t available, please email us at contactme@mamapachauk.co.uk to check we able to fulfil your order. Spaces are limited and we encourage you to reserve your date at least 6 months prior to your event where possible.
2. Getting your flowers to us
Flowers can be delivered in person to our Maidstone location (ME14). or posted to us using our packaging guidelines. We recommend flowers arrive within 2–3 days of your event to ensure the best possible preservation.
3. Dry, design and pour
Your flowers are carefully dried within 24 hours of arrival. This process typically takes 4–6 weeks.
Once dried, we’ll be in touch to talk through your enquiry form and any design preferences. While you’ll have already selected your resin pieces, this guided conversation allows us to thoughtfully plan the layout, shape and scale based on how your flowers have dried.
Resin is poured slowly in layers over 2–3 weeks, with additional sanding where required. A polished topcoat completes the piece.
Most keepsakes are completed within 12–16 weeks. Every piece is unique, and timings can vary depending on design and drying results — patience is rewarded with a beautifully finished heirloom!
4. Your keepsake returns home
Once complete, your finished piece(s) will be carefully packaged with care instructions. Any ribbons will be returned, and leftover flowers can be included upon request (please see our T&Cs).

We’ll arrange a convenient collection time or post your piece via Royal Mail First Class Signed For.
